We Developed The First Pepper Electric Movable bookshelf Service in The Industry with Bunshodo Corporation
Headwaters Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shinjyuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Yousuke Shinoda) has been supporting planning and developing app business for Pepper, the personal robot that can read emotions by SoftBank Robotics Corp.
This time, with Bunshodo Corporation (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Yoshinori Sato, president and CEO), we co-developed a service which "BSD elecon pack series" and Pepper are connected.
We exhibited at the Library Fair and Forum 17th(November 10th(Wed) to 12th(Tue) 2015, Pacifico Yokohama).
Bunshodo Corporation has history of 100 years from the establishment, and manufacture and sells movable bookshelf "BSD elecon pack series".
The years of manufacture and sells are running 50 years, the longest sells in the industry and 30000 domestic supply record is No.1 in the industry.
We newly use personal robot Pepper for electric movable bookshelf,
suggesting new concept that machine (Pepper) controls machine (electric movable bookshelf)
This is a function that picking up books by searching via
Pepper's tablet monitor or his voice sounds,
furthermore, by Pepper would read QR codes,
the electric a bookshelf which the book is in it would start to move.
We provide brand new user experiences that electric movable bookshelves haven't never before
by putting Pepper as a user interface since he adequate for communication.
This trying was a suggestion of an entrance for communication
between hard machines without personality
by using Pepper as a entrance of IoT.
