Exhibition SupportAsial Corporation

We supported the Asial Corporation's Monaca Exhibition at the Japan IT Week Spring 2015 Smartphone & Mobile Expo, held at Tokyo Big Site from May 13th to 15th.

The purpose of using Pepper was to increase the number of visitors to the booth by having Pepper call out to them and to thereby increase the number of business cards we received.
We developed an app using the Pepper app package "Probo."

As a result, we achieved 200% more total business card acquisitions and electronic data exchanges over 3 days than the number of business card acquisitions of the previous year.

Explanation of the Booth

Its role was to be in charge of sales!
When guests who were interested in the booth were found, they were given an explanation of the services being exhibited.

Acquisition of Business Cards by Camera

Business card-exchanging Pepper, developed using the Pepper app package "Probo," exchanged business cards as electronic data.

A special Pepper name card was displayed via a tablet on its chest.

Guests' business cards were photographed by a camera on Pepper's forehead, thereby acquiring business cards as electronic data.

Effects of Introducing Pepper

Stopping Passers By

At large exhibitions such as the Smartphone & Mobile Expo, because people walk quickly around the booths, even if staff members call out to them, they rarely stop. Pepper exhibited the effect of stopping guests from walking by, and the staff members succeeded in introducing services to the guests.
As a result,
the number of acquired business cards increased! The number of pamphlets issued increased!
This exhibited the major effect of achieving a result of over 200% more total business card and electronic data acquisitions over 3 days than the previous year.

Distinguishing the Booth From Other Booths

In locations such as exhibitions, there is a tendency for the services and products of booths to resemble one another. As a result, attendees sometimes find it difficult to comprehend the services of each company.
Pepper's calling out and explanation of the booth stayed in the memories of the attendees, and this made subsequent activities easier, when following up customers from the acquired business cards.

Revitalization of the Booth

Pepper is very well known from television etc.,
and by incorporating humorous speech and movements into Pepper's calling out and booth explanations, it invited attendees to laugh and lead to vitality of the booth overall.
